Washington Square Cafe & Catering in Burlington

Food was good but the wait time to get our food took forever. We came in at 1:15. Food didn’t come till 1:58pm. It wasn’t crowded here. Don’t know if you guys were short on staffed in the kitchen. My daughter order a corn dog and Mac n cheese. I order a grilled chx and a side salad. It shouldn’t take that long.

Service oriented place that impressed me, I'll be back!

A very nice place. A little gem nestled in the center of Burlington but just off the main road. Perfect to enjoy a nice meal or cool beverage in a friendly environment. Outdoor patio is covered, cool and quiet.

Finally Opened! Great Food, Atmosphere!

Food was average, at best. Service was below average. Outdoor dining area was pretty nice though. Not busy, only five tables were sat, and our food still took nearly an hour. Well, two of us got our burger and wings at about 45 minutes. The third person in our party got their salad Right at the hour mark.

Got the bourbon chicken and would highly recommend! Friendly staff and great food

Their patio area was enclosed and warm enough, but we chose to eat inside since we hadn't eaten there yet. We liked the ambience inside. We shared a BLT and fries. Lots of bacon - delicious! It just happened that a friend (who I hadn't seen for a while) was seated right behind me and that made our time at Washington Square even nicer!

I have honesty ate here once. However my food was delicious prepared right. Service was wonderful. She was very attentive and kept my drink refilled.

The veggie burger was awesome. It's just great comfort food. I heard they make them on premise. The covered patio is amazing. You have to try it.

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a pleasant evening and the venue was clearly one of the reasons for the strong meeting. The team collaborated in a very nice way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were extremely thrilled. We shall no dout return for more events. Thank you very much.

Nice little place for dinner. Small with limited parking. Pricing slightly above average. Food is good. Band on some evenings. Wait time and service was very slow.

First visit and this place is so cute but the cute ends at the esthetics. The side salad we ordered had one slice of a cucumber and the tomatoes had stems attached making them inedible. The side of chips and pickle are a side of ruffles and one round pickle slice. The buffalo wrap I ordered had ranch listed on the menu but it didn't have it on what I got, making it dry. We ordered the broccoli and carrots for our one year old. The carrots were supposed to be cooked but they were still so hard that he couldn't eat them and they were covered in brown spots. When we told the waitress why we didn't need anything but the bill, we were offered a side of ranch. Not worth the full price $30 lunch we got. Looks like it had potential but doesn't live up to how cute it could be.

This was way overpriced for what you get. I got the steak hoagie for about $10.50 and it tasted like I got it out of the vending machine at work. It was a processed and preformed patty of a meat type product. The photo is to show what they are considering "steak" for the steak hoagie. The kids burgers were about half the size of the bun, so they get a ton of bread and a little hamburger. Get smaller buns for the kids meals.This is like low cost diner food at gourmet pricing.

I really like this little bar and grill located in the historic Washington Square district of Erlanger, KY. I had just left traffic court and was quite hangry. They had a huge variety of adult beverages, but I had my stomach set on breakfast. The beautiful young blonde with a cat named biscuit (the cat was absent) who waited on me was smashing a breakfast burrito bigger than she was. I told her I wanted one exactly like hers, and that's what I got! My only complaint was that after devouring this beast of breakfast, I was too full to order something else. This place is a hidden gem perfect for turning a day that's blue, back to true.

I hadn't never been to this eatery before but my husband had. He enjoyed it. I ordered a hamburger and my hubby ordered steak hoagie with fries and he loved the fries. They were excellent. We ate outside and it was very nice atmosphere, great service. Clean restaurant. We definitely will go back. Have a blessed night.

So very disappointed. My family was in there and the owner flat out said would not make any changes to how the food is prepared per the menu. She would not cook the food any other way. For a small hometown restraunt was shocked my family was treated that way.

The food is absolutely delicious. We came upon this place coming from Idlewild Park, hiking. The staff is very friendly and made us feel like we were a regular. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day. If you are in the area, this restaurant is a must try!

I tried this spot once with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I liked the excellent mood and yummy food and drinks. Highly recommended.

A pretty solid lunch spot. Friendly service. The Reuben was not the best I've ever had, but tasty. The crinkle cut fries were hot and fresh. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but I'd stop in if I were in the area.

A quaint little restaurant with a nice variety on their menu. The food, choice of selections and portions are excellent, the service can be a little slow, but never a bother. They have fantastic appetizers too. Nice casual dining and always a good local crowd.

Always a great experience

Today my boyfriend & I had a wonderful dining experience..We sat at the bar and I think our server was Julie..can't remember her name..I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap & my boyfriend had a Tuna fish sandwich & Clam Chowder..Our server made my boyfriend a Mule drink...100% excellent service..We will be going back tomorrow for brunch. Great food & service makes a fun date. See ya soon!!

We arrived at a little after 8 on a Sunday evening. To our surprise they still served us dinner even though the kitchen closed at 8. The food was very good and the service was superior!! We have lived in the area for 5 years and have never stopped by this gem in the middle of town. Wish we would have stopped sooner. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast.

Great prices and great food at this quiet restaurant just of KY18 in downtown Burlington. With indoor seating, a heated patio, and an outdoor seating area, there is something for every taste. I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with good coffee at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is quiet and great for conversation.

Nice little restaurant with a laid back "old school" feel. Food was good and the staff is nice. The outside seating is good if the temperature is right. There are fans and heaters as well.

Boyfriend and I were driving through town and smelled something AMAZING. So we parked, googled what was around and stopped in. Amazing food, happy employees. Definitely recommend the goetta planks and cheesecake!

Good food at a good price, seating is kind of tight but hey it's a quaint place with different food.
